I had a very productive Sunday making the new cover for issue 3 of "Suicidal Goldfish." I also worked on new magnets that will go with the new issue it will be out in November.

Summer of Exercise

Love handles,

   you have been with me since high school,

and now it is time to say good-bye to you...

This time I am trying to make a change for me,
   and I have accepted this challenge of exercising,

I know it is not going to be easy and it will take months to see a difference,
 I will never be supermodel anorexia skinny,
 but I want to be healthy and fit and return to size 6 pant size..

This is not the summer of bikini's, but the summer of sweating off the excess baggage of worries and feeling happy to be in the   track every morning...

Boy Diaries

I want to start by writing that I truly love when men don't give a care and dance. Even if they are not dancing with me, but they are in the middle of the dance floor is always so amazing to watch them move their body to the song. I always find it very cool when I am dancing with my friends and look around and I see guys dancing. I know what many of you might be thinking that perhaps they had a few drinks in and feel the courage to dance.
To all the ladies who enjoy reading this blog please encourage your guy friends that we love it when guys are not afraid to show their closet dance moves on the actual dance floor at Punky Reggae Night or Part Time Punks.

Bad Photos Diary...

   I decided today when I was walking in my neighborhood to make a bad photos diary. There's so many amazing photographers in the world that take beautiful pictures. I have always been that nervous photographer that misses the moment or ruins it. Even though I have taken photography courses in high school and college for some reason my photos have never been quite that good. So today is my first day of taking my camera with me for the purpose of taking pictures of mundane things that no one else will care to take pictures of, but me.

Boys+Flannel Shirts= Boy Diary Crushes

I had been missing the fun adventures of finding a guy to crush on. Finally for the sake of bringing back "Boy Diaries" every week I indeed found a guy. This guy seems pretty cool and he was wearing a black and blue flannel shirt, and his hair was slick back with a lot of hairspray. I had seen him before at the bookstore, but I got a little nervous that I walked in another aisle searching for a book. I usually go to my Sunday writers group at the bookstore were flannel boy works in. I was running late for the meeting when I walked into the bookstore I happened to notice the cashier that was sitting in the register. The bookstore was not that busy so he was easy to spot. I walked quickly up the stairs and through the maze and it was nice to see him from second floor view he looked very handsome. Then I thought that after the meeting I would buy a magazine to at least say "hi" since he was the cashier. Unfortunately for me when my meeting ended 3 hours later he was not the cashier but a girl with a pretty green vintage dress was in his place. The nice thing is that he was at the register but he was looking through a magazine. As I made my exit from the bookstore I looked his way just to take a mental picture of him. I hope he works at the bookstore this Sunday and I have the courage to say "hi."

Making a Tune...

I've been working for a couple of weeks on a poem/song for this important scene in my next novel. It is about a boy who smells like citrus. I sat yesterday trying to complete the poem, but I failed so many times to give it a nice ending. So I decided to take out my glockenspiel and play with it and I wrote a little tune. (I am not a musician or songwriter) but it sounds nice. Once, I complete the tune I will indeed share it with all of you..

Motivation...

"You are your own motivator." This is why I want you readers to embark in this journey with me and share this fun adventure of "Suicidal Goldfish."

I need a pitch right so you can continue coming back to this blog... but I truly don't have one the only thing   I can say is this your not alone on your quest of pursuing whatever goal and dream you want to accomplish. It is better to have company than to trudge alone with uncertainty.

I am sooo done of waiting for the magical dust to make my dream a reality and that is why issue 1 of "Suicidal Goldfish" is out today and hopefully many of you will like to own one don't hesitate to leave a comment or email me.

Creative High

Working on the first issue of "Suicidal Goldfish" has been a fun experience. I can't wait for the lovely readers of this blog to get their hands on a copy..

Let Me Get Creative...

I think it is time to get back on the creative path. There has been soo many zig zags on my path and self-doubts about writing and creating art. I know for a fact now that my novel "Suicidal Goldfish" can exist in the real world without me. The first step was the creation of my zine that ties in with the novel. I even took a chance and sent a poem for a valentine's day zine titled, "I'm Just Tryin' To Change The Color On Your Mood Ring." By SunflowerGrayProductions. Then I was asked to contribute to "Gag Me With A.." Both Zines are beautiful collections of art, short stories, comic strips, and poems. I am starting to straighten out the path of my creative endeavors.

Good-Bye January

   Today is the last day of January and I was thinking about how this month went super slow at least that is how I am feeling about it. I truly like that February first is tomorrow it is a great month especially because Valentines Day is celebrated on that month. I really like checking out the different types of heart shapes in the stores. (I don't get tired of writing this each year).

    I have been trying to write a new song for my next novel. I have this tune in my head for days and I know what I want to say but I am not sure if the tune will rhyme with this line "What About Us.."
