Stay Tune for "El Mix" zine...

I am currently working on "El Mix" zine...I have never put together an actual booklet so I am trying to figure out how to make copies and make it look sweet...I want people to be able to share a moment with each other as they read this poem...I am in hopes that it can string people together and just for a moment they can have a musical journey together...If everyone were to make a mix and give it to a random person what an awesome feeling that will be to share your soundtrack with someone else...

No Profound Words

I was working on my zine titled "No Profound Words". I was very happy the way I created each page and pasted the words. I am very proud in how it looks. Once I get the cable to upload the images I will post it. I was looking through some images that I had taken awhile back and I like how this melted ice-cream made the shape of a heart. It always makes me smile when so unexpected a heart transforms.

Raining Once Again

I don't have much to do today. It is freakiiin cold and it is raining. I have decided to write everyday on this blog until I buy a new journal. All my genuine thoughts are going to be written on this. What can I say I am trying to get my creative fuels in full gear today. I have been postponing the rewrite process of my novel. I don't know if anyone out there has written a draft that you put away, and you know that there's a purpose for writing it. That is how I am feeling about my novel. I read chapter one today and I realize that I am still in luv with it. The beginning the voice of my young heroine. It is so great. Once I brush up on a few things I will post it up here. This will give my character some life. In other things I am putting together a poetry zine. I must make my zine a little bigger. I truly adored making my first 20 mini zines. I gave them all away with magnets. And Now I am going to venture off making another zine. I gotta help my mom make tamales right now..I 'll tomorrow (hopefully)..

Day 1

It's a New Year...
There's so many dreams and goals I want to accomplish, but at the same time the endless possibilities of not knowing what life will have in store for me. You get to start fresh on 1-1-11 and today was such a perfect day it was sunny. The sky was so clear that I could see the observatory from my house. That's how clear LA was without the fog. I keep blasting on my ipod "Arcade Fire's album Suburb"...(I highly recommend that album)...The song I continuously play on repeat is "Empty Room"...I must find the video so I can share this awesome song with you.

I like the lines that say "Said Your Name In An Empty Room.." the guitar playing is soo sweeeet...
I am looking forward to this yeaaar...
